In anticipation of the upcoming NWFL match against Sunshine Queens, Rivers Angels forward Olamide Adugbe has expressed huge confidence in her goal-scoring abilities.
Adugbe, who revealed her readiness for the clash, credits the team’s rigorous training for their preparedness, footballrover reports.
“I expect to score tomorrow because I did that in our home game and will also do the same here in Akure,” she confidently stated.
With a personal target of 15 goals for the season, Adugbe remains optimistic about achieving her goal, beginning with the match against Sunshine Queens.
“My target was 15 goals from the onset, but I still think I can keep up because after the regular season, we still have the Super Six,” she added.
Following their recent victory against Delta Queens in the South-South derby, Rivers Angels enter the match with high spirits.
Meanwhile, Sunshine Queens, coming off a 4-2 defeat to Edo Queens, aim to bounce back to winning in front of their home fans.
Set for Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024, at the Akure Township Stadium, this NWFL Premiership fixture promises another thrilling showdown for football lovers.
With kickoff at 4 p.m., Jewel of Rivers is primed to put out their best performance as they endeavour to secure a crucial victory in their NWFL Premiership journey.
