The team, familiar with the pain of defeat, is now focused on getting it right against Edo Queens in the women’s round of 16 fixtures on Wednesday.

Coach Whyte Ogbonda, speaking ahead of the game, has emphasised the team’s objective to go far in the competition and lift the trophy.
“This is the FA Cup, and I know we lost the league title to them, but this is a different ballgame now,” he said.
The Jewels of Rivers, known for their consistency in reaching the finals of the FA Cup, are determined to bring the trophy back to Rivers State after missing out on the league title.
The match against Edo Queens, recent champions of the Nigeria Women’s Premier League, promises to be an exciting encounter at the Awka City Stadium.
With their sights set on redemption, the Rivers Ladies are ready to face their familiar foes and come out victorious.
