Seems Spanish giants, Real Madrid, have recently withdrawn their interest in securing the signature of Kai Havertz following revelations about Chelsea’s valuation.
Footballrover understands that Real Madrid’s pursuit of Kai Havertz has slowed down as they have reservations regarding the price demanded by Chelsea.
Real Madrid has engaged in talks with Havertz’s representatives and expressed their keenness for a summer transfer.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti sees the 23-year-old as a versatile forward capable of filling the void left by the departure of Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio.
Although Chelsea intends to retain Havertz this summer, they are open to selling him if the right offer comes along.
The club is eager to generate funds after a year of significant spending that failed to secure Champions League qualification.
Reports suggest that Chelsea aims to recoup the amount spent on acquiring Havertz in 2020, which exceeded £70 million.
Reliable sources have confirmed Real Madrid’s decision to step back from negotiations at this stage.
Real Madrid officials have differing opinions on Havertz’s value, and they are currently unwilling to pursue a deal at the quoted price.
Havertz still has a genuine possibility of leaving Chelsea during the summer transfer window.
Fair to say Chelsea and Kai Havertz are on same page. Club prepared to let him leave — while Havertz is open to trying new chapter elsewhere. ???? #CFC

Bayern Munich, led by former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, has expressed long-standing admiration for the German midfielder.
They consider him a potential replacement for the aging Thomas Muller.
Paris Saint-Germain has also taken notice of Havertz’s potential availability as they search for a suitable replacement for Lionel Messi.
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has made it clear that Havertz remains a valued member of his team.
However, with the arrival of Christopher Nkunku and plans to sign a new central striker, the Argentine is ready to sanction Havertz’s departure.
