Manchester City faced a tough test in their UEFA Champions League (UCL) clash against Club Brugge, but it was Raphael Onyedika who made the headlines early on.

Coming into Matchday 8, Manchester City needed a win to avoid a shocking early exit. The pressure was obvious as they struggled to break down a resolute Brugge defence.
On the stroke of halftime, Onyedika took full advantage of a defensive lapse, ghosting in at the far post to smash home the opener.

Pep Guardiola’s men, however, responded in the second half. Mateo Kovačić sparked the comeback with a stunning solo goal, levelling the score shortly after the break.

European giants eye Raphael Onyedika
Despite Club Brugge’s defeat, Onyedika’s impressive display hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Top European clubs, including Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, and Porto, have reportedly expressed interest in signing the 23-year-old Nigerian midfielder.
Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring him closely, with Brugge valuing him at around €30 million.
With his stock rising, a major transfer could be on board for Raphael Onyedika, whose first UCL goal against City has only strengthened his reputation.
