Nigerian forward Rafiu Durosinmi wasted no time reminding fans of his scoring instinct, finding the net barely two minutes into Viktoria Plzen’s pre-season clash.

In a friendly match on Wednesday, the 22-year-old striker opened the scoring to help Viktoria Plzen secure a 2-0 win over fellow Czech side Ceske Budejovice at Stadion Lucni, Footballrover reports.

Durosinmi shines bright in Viktoria Plzen pre-season form

His early goal lit up the game and gave Plzen the perfect start. Durosinmi’s clinical finish proved decisive as his team held the lead into halftime, controlling possession and momentum.

After the break, Durosinmi was subbed off for experienced striker Matej Vydra. But the momentum remained with Viktoria Plzen, as substitute Jiri Panos doubled the lead in the 76th minute to seal a comfortable win.

Last season, Rafiu Durosinmi impressed with six goals and two assists in just 16 appearances, and fans will be hoping for an injury-free season filled with even greater impact.

His return to form this early in pre-season is a positive sign for Viktoria Plzen’s upcoming campaign.

With this confident win behind them, Viktoria Plzen will now have to shift focus to their next pre-season fixture against FK Komarov, scheduled for tomorrow.
