The Uyo Township Stadium was buzzing as Port Harcourt Professionals faced off against Uyo Professionals in an entertaining friendly match, with the Garden City side clinching a dominant 2-0 victory.
This exciting game brought together some of Nigeria’s top football talents, many of whom play both locally and internationally, using their off-season break to entertain fans and stay sharp, Footballrover reports.

The action started early when Osimaga Duke found the back of the net in the first half, giving the PH Professionals the lead.
The victory was sealed by Macklyn Obomate, who scored the second goal, ensuring a clear win for the visiting team.
The squad of the PH lads boasted an impressive lineup, including Super Eagles defender Olisa Ndah from Orlando Pirates, Super Eagles goalkeeper John Noble, former Rivers United captain Nyima Nwagua, Kingsley Sokari, Loveday Anugbuo, former Akwa United defender Samson Gbadebo, and Michael Ibe.

Not to be outdone, Uyo Professionals also put out a formidable roster of stars from Akwa Ibom.
Their lineup featured well-known names like Emem Eduok, Mfon Udoh, Godspower Tower, Aniekpeno Udoh, Ekerette Udom, Dennis Nya, Ubong Friday, Franklin Anthony, Aniekeme Okon, and Unwana Asuquo.
This strong team had previously secured a 4-2 win against Ibom Unites, a team of NNL stars, just a few days prior.
Despite their impressive talent, they couldn’t break through the defence of the Port Harcourt Professionals.
After the match, players from both sides enjoyed a lively reunion, catching up, sharing stories from their seasons in various leagues across Europe, Asia, Africa, and locally, and discussing their club experiences.
