The team took to social media on Thursday morning to announce their latest acquisitions, sending a clear message to the rest of the NPFL—Plateau United means business this season.

Here’s the star-studded lineup of Plateau United’s new signings:

Chukwuebuka Anthony from Akwa United
– Ibe Chumakpa Michael coming in hot from AS Douanes in Burkina Faso
– Saka Gafar bringing flair from Morak FC in Warri
– Chinedu Sunday poached from Lobi Stars FC
– Mafeng Badung, a strong player from Sunshine Stars FC.
– Collins Onovughe, adding power from Warri Wolves FC
– Igbaakaa Dickson, a solid import from Legon Cities in Ghana
– Vincent Temitope, also from Sunshine Stars FC, ready to shine
– Sadiq Adamu, one skilled player from Rivers United

After missing out by just five points last season, they’re more determined than ever.

But first, they’ll have to face a fierce local derby against Katsina United at the Jos International Stadium on September 8.

Meanwhile, the team is already sharpening their skills in the Gusau Ahlan Pre-season Tournament.

Earlier today, they clashed with Mailantarki FC in a thrilling Matchday 2.

The Jos-based team continued their preseason campaign with a narrow 1-0 win.
