Plateau United’s head coach, Mbwas Mangut, has received a major accolade from the Plateau State Government, the club’s owners, in the form of a brand-new official car.

This presentation took place at the club’s headquarters, marking a significant acknowledgment of Mangut’s contributions, Footballrover reports

Habila Mutla, the General Manager of the Peace Boys, highlighted that this gesture aimed to amplify the young tactician’s performance on the field.

This special recognition closely follows their resounding victory over NPFL counterparts, Abia Warriors, over the past weekend.

Expressing his gratitude during his acceptance speech, Mangut conveyed that this generous gesture acts as a tremendous motivation, empowering him further in fulfilling his responsibilities.

He extended heartfelt thanks to the management team for their unwavering support and belief in his strategic plans.

In an additional display of support, Footballrover equally understands that the team’s general manager also received a new jeep, underscoring the collective recognition of the coaching staff’s efforts.

As Plateau United currently holds the fifth position in the NPFL table with 13 points, they are gearing up for their next match at Gombe Township Stadium against Doma United this Saturday.

This latest boost with the new vehicles is anticipated to inspire the team further as they continue their competitive journey in the league.
