Paul Onuachu continued his impressive goal-scoring spree for Trabzonspor, delivering a brilliant performance that propelled his team to a narrow away victory over Fenerbahce on Saturday.
In the Turkish Super Lig—Round 11 clash at Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, the 29-year-old Nigerian forward wasted no time in establishing the lead for the visitors.
The Super Eagles man opened scoring for Trabzonspor in the the early stages of the game, before two quick-fire goals from Berat Özdemir and Nicolas Pépé sealed a 3-2 victory, Footballrover reports
Within the first 10 minutes, Onuachu found the back of the net, setting the tone for the match.
His brilliant header from the center of the box landed perfectly in the bottom right corner, giving Trabzonspor an early 1-0 lead.
The first half ended with a narrow lead, but the visiting side resumed with a much-spirited fight.

Just a minute into the second half, Berat Özdemir doubled their advantage. Nicolas Pépé then produced a moment of magic, extending the lead to 3-0 for Trabzonspor.
Fenerbahce managed to pull one back in the 60th minute when Dusan Tadic converted a penalty kick.
But their troubles deepened 17 minutes later when Ismail Yüksek received a second yellow card for a poor tackle, reducing them to 10 players.
As the game seemed to be slipping away, Dusan Tadic converted yet another penalty in the 89th minute, making it 2-3 for Fenerbahce.
However, Trabzonspor’s hopes of grabbing a fourth goal was dashed as VAR overturned a late goal scored by Enis Destan, and the match ended with a 3-2 victory.
Paul Onuachu not only secured Trabzonspor’s lead against Fenerbahce but also added his fourth goal of the season to his tally. His performance was crucial in Trabzonspor’s triumph.
Before his today’s goal he has gone on three game goal drought.
