Paul Mukairu has officially joined Pogoni Szczecin, setting his sights on making history with the Pride of Pomerania.

The Nigerian forward sealed a two-year deal with the Polish side, with an option to extend for another year, bringing fresh excitement to Szczecin fans, Footballrover reports.

Born on January 18, 2000, in Abuja, Mukairu began his football journey at the FC Hearth Academy in Nigeria.
His big break came in March 2019 when he moved to Turkish side Antalyaspor. Just five months later, he made his senior debut in the Turkish Süper Lig against Göztepe SK.

Mukairu’s talent quickly attracted attention. In the 2020/21 season, he went on loan to Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht, where he played 29 matches, scored four goals, and provided three assists — a taste of what he could bring to Szczecin.
Pride of Pomerania secure key signing
In January 2022, Mukairu signed for FC Copenhagen. He featured 25 times for the Danish club before going on loan to England’s Reading FC for the 2023/24 season.
Recently, he lit up Turkish football with Boluspor, where he became a key player, recording seven goals and 14 assists in just 39 matches.

Now, the forward will wear number 18 for Pogoni Szczecin as they push for historic success in Poland.
Speaking about his new chapter, Mukairu shared that he is “very happy to be here. After talking to the president, the coach and other people from the club, I decided that this would be an interesting step in my career. I know that the club wants to do something historic, and it is always good to be a part of something like that.”
