Simy Nwankwo of Salernitana has signed a loan deal with Serie B club Parma until the conclusion of the 2021-22 season.
After battling to maintain top form in the Italian top flight this season, the Nigerian forward has moved to the second level.
The Crusaders have also revealed that the 29-year-old’s deal might likely be extended at the end of the season.
The move to Serie B means an end to his season-long loan at Salernitana, where he failed to find form, scoring just once in 19 league appearances.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian is no stranger to Serie B, having earned the top scorer award with 20 goals in 37 appearances for Crotone in 2019-20.

When Parma travels to Benevento for their next league match on Saturday, the Nigerian international is looking likely to make his debut.
