Orji Chukwuneku Precious has successfully transferred from Excellent Football Club of Ughelli, Delta State, to the Finnish team FC Finnkurd.
The young forward, aged 19, has signed a contract with FC Finnkurd for an undisclosed amount, and he will be playing for the Finnish side in the upcoming season.
Prior to joining FC Finnkurd, Orji played a significant role for Excellent Football Club in Ughelli and played a vital part in the team’s achievements.
Regarding his recent move, Orji expressed his gratitude for the time he spent at Excellent FC, but he is now eagerly anticipating a new phase in his career with FC Finnkurd.
According to the striker, discussions with the individuals responsible at FC Finnkurd convinced him that he would have the ideal environment to develop as a young player. Consequently, he is delighted to be a part of this esteemed club.
“I had a great time in Excellent FC but right now, I’m excited and looking forward to a new chapter in my career in FC Finnkurd. The talks with those responsible at FC Finnkurd convinced me that I have the best conditions to grow as a young player. So I am happy to be part of this great club,” he said.
In the meantime, Onome James, the CEO of Excellent Football Club, believes that Orji Chukwuneku Precious’ departure to FC Finnkurd will bolster the team and enhance their chances of gaining promotion to the third tier of Finnish football.
James emphasized his pride in Orji Precious’ accomplishments, noting that he is a player who always seeks to learn and improve.
He also added that with Orji Precious, FC Finnkurd has acquired a player who will contribute to the team’s future achievements.

FC Finnkurd is scheduled to compete in the Kolmonen Etelä league in the upcoming season.
