The failure of USM Khenchela to pick up three points against CS Constantine in their Algerian Ligue 1 match on Thursday has left former NPFL player Omoyele Tosin feeling deeply disheartened.
After his club side played out a 1-1 tie at the Hamam Ammar Stadium, the former Enyimba hitman took to his Twitter page to voice his concerns with his team’s performance.
USM Khenchela kicked off the game with an early goal, courtesy of Mohamed Athmani, who found back of the net barely five minutes into the encounter.
However, Mohamed Madani leveled the scoreline for the visitors just two minutes into extra time of stoppage time.
Despite featuring in 13 games for the Nabil Neghiz side this season and scoring just one goal, the 26-year-old striker claimed it was a very challenging game for him and his teammates.
“Very difficult game it was for us. Gutted we failed to record a win against Constantine.” – he wrote on twitter.

Recall that the Nigerian forward joined USMK on a two-year deal last summer after leaving former African champions – Enyimba when his contract with the People’s Elephant expired.
USM Khenchela were former champions of the Algerian second division, who earned an incredible promotion to the elite division, but has only managed to capture the seventh spot after 16 games.
