The Nigerian forward found himself on the scoresheet in the first period of the game, with both sides sharing the spoils at Prince Hathloul Sports City, Footballrover reports.

It took the Nigerian superstar just 12 minutes into the game to show why he’s the king of the Saudi Pro League.

He delivered a thunderbolt strike from outside the 18-yard box, handing the visitors the lead.

Unfortunately for Ighalo and his teammates, Collado’s neat finish handed Al-Akhdoud a crucial equaliser, cancelling out his early opener.

The scoreline remained unchanged heading into the interval.

The second half resumed with both teams pushing hard for a crucial winning goal, but neither could capitalise on their chances, resulting in a stalemate.

Odion Ighalo’s goal follows his end to a three-month goal drought with a Man of the Match performance against Al-Khaleej, where he scored a brace to secure Al-Wehda a 2-1 win.

The former Manchester United star has now scored three goals in his last three games for Al-Wehda.

Following the 1-1 draw, Al-Wehda’s struggles continue as the league winds down. They remain in 13th place with just 36 points, six points ahead of their hosts.
