Nigerian super star, Odion Ighalo scored yet another goal on Wednesday evening, propelling Al Wehda to a commanding lead in Saudi King Cup.
A second-half goal from the Odion Ighalo and another from Nawaf Al Azizi were all Al Wehda needed to seal a solid win in the Saudi King Cup round of 32.
The 34-year-old Nigerian forward has found the back of the net in back-to-back games for Al Wehda as they crushed Al-Orobah FC 2-0 at the Sakaka Club Stadium.
After an intense first half, Al-Orobah and Al Wehda failed to take charge of the game until the 76th minute, when Odion Ighalo broke the deadlock to hand the visitors the lead.
A minute before the end of regulation time, Nawaf Al Azizi doubled the tally to hand the visiting Al Wehda the vital win.
The former Manchester United star Odion Ighalo, who played for 90 minutes in the game, could only produce two shots, and one managed to hit the target.
So far, so good. Ighalo now has a ten-goal contribution for Al Wehda after scoring five goals in five matches for the team.
Odion Ighalo has been on fire since his move to the Saudi Pro League and has been proving his worth every matchday for his team.
