Odion Ighalo led Al-Hilal to a resounding victory at home with the brace, and his impressive performance has given him plenty of self-assurance.
During the game, the 33-year-old was able to take five shots on goal against Ronaldo and his colleagues.
The legendary Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid also received a yellow card in the contest, capping off a terrible evening for him and his teammates.
Ighalo scored twice from the penalty spot in a tightly contested game at the King Fahd International Stadium to offer his team the victory.
His first goal came just three minutes before the interval, and the second was scored barely 17 minutes into the second half.
Odion Ighalo simply adores scoring goals against Al-Nassr. He scored twice and provided an assist in Al-Hilal’s 4-0 demolition of the opposing team during their previous meeting in March 2022.
With 18 goals in 22 games and two assists, the Nigerian forward has overtaken all other scorers in the Saudi Pro League.
After winning the Riyadh derby 2-0, Al-Hilal moved up to fourth place in the Saudi Pro League with 49 points from 25 games.
Al-Nassr, who is still in second position in the league, is only three points behind the league leaders – Al-Ittihad.
