The 2023 NPFL Super Six best eleven players have been released, just after the tournament reached its climax in Lagos on Sunday, with Enyimba emerging as the champions for an unprecedented ninth time.

In this selection, the players have been carefully assembled following a 4-3-3 formation, ensuring a fair and unbiased representation from various teams.

The NPFL officially released the list of eleven exceptional players and the coach for the 2022–2023 Nigeria Premier League football season, based on their outstanding performances at the recently concluded Super Six football championship.

Enyimba International FC boasts four players in the lineup, while Rivers United FC and Bendel Insurance FC each have three and two players, respectively.

Finidi George, the coach of Enyimba International FC, is recognized as the best coach, and Olurunleke Ojo from Enyimba International is celebrated as the best goalkeeper.

Defenders are;

– Ebube Duru (Rivers United),
– Benjamin Tanimu (Bendel Insurance),
– Kalu Orji (Lobi Stars),
– and Ismail Sodiq (Remo Stars).

The midfielders are:

– Morice Chukwu (Rivers United),
– Cooper Ikenna (Enyimba International), – Divine Nwachukwu (Bendel Insurance).

Making up the attacking formation in the list are:

– Sadiq Abubakar (Enyimba International),
– Emeka Obioma (Enyimba International),
– and Mark Gibson (Rivers United).
