According to Biffo, it’s very important to clinch victories in all forthcoming home matches to avoid relegation in the highly competitive Nigeria Premier Football League, Footballrover reports.

This is coming after their recent home victory over Abia Warriors in Lagos.

The win over the Umuahia Boys marked a significant milestone for Biffo’s team after the six-goal thriller at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena during his first home appearance with the noisy Lagosians.

In the thrilling showdown, the Lagos-based team claimed a resounding 4-2 victory, igniting the spirits of fervent Lagosians.

Paschal Durogbor, Junior Lokosa, and Jonathan Alukwu were all in top form, finding the back of the net to propel the Tech Boys up the NPFL standings.

Speaking to the Duchess of Sport after the game, the coach claimed that,

“All what we need to do is win all the remaining home matches and forget about the relegation scare. If you look at the table, Sporting Lagos destiny is still in our hands.”

With just 41 points garnered from 32 matches, Sporting Lagos finds themselves perched precariously four points clear of the relegation zone.

Looking ahead, the determined club braces for challenging encounters against Enugu Rangers, Plateau United, and Enyimba in their remaining home clashes.
