The League Management Company has confirmed that Rivers United’s Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 20 tie in Uyo vs Akwa United FC has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 2, 2022.

The club received a letter from the club’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr Salihu Abubakar, dated March 30, 2022, containing this modification.

“Kindly be informed that the match stated below has been rearranged as follows: this is due to logistics reasons involving the NPFL clubs“.

Venue: Godwill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo
Time: 4pm

Last week Sunday, the Stanley Eguma side crushed the Uyo side following a stunning performance that saw Chijioke Akuneto score a hat-trick.

The Port Harcourt side defeated their opponents 4-1 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium and will be hoping to keep their lead over the Uyo Boys.
