The NPFL and NNL have officially rescheduled their league matches, aligning with the state Federation Cup finals.
The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has made adjustments to its matchday 28 fixtures, Footballrover reports.
Initially slated for Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024, the games will now kick off on Wednesday, April 3rd, across all venues.
This decision was communicated to all 20 clubs via a memo issued by the NPFL on Wednesday.
Davidson Owumi, the Chief Operating Officer, cited logistical reasons for the change and urged clubs to ensure smooth operations for the rescheduled matches.

In related news, the state Federation Cup finals are set to electrify fans this weekend.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria National League (NNL) has also tweaked its weekend matches for the last week of March 2024 to accommodate the state Federation Cup finals.
Following directives from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to conclude the 2024 Federation Cup schedules on March 30th and 31st, 2024, the NNL has rescheduled its weekend matches accordingly.
With numerous clubs participating in the Federation Cup, the NNL has opted to shift its matches to Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024.
All clubs and football associations involved have been duly informed of these updates.
