Nigerian Football Federation – NFF has disengaged the Super Eagles head coach, Augustine Eguavoen and his Technical Crew with immediate effect.
Following Nigeria’s Super Eagles’ failure to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, erstwhile Technical Adviser and crew members have been relieved of their duties.
In the meantime, the NFF has revoked the two-and-a-half-year contract offered to the coaches and has dismissed the team’s entire technical staff with immediate effect.
After a thorough examination, a new crew will be named to spearhead the effort of reviving the Super Eagles and preparing them for future challenges, the NFF noted.
