AS Roma head coach – Jose Mourinho has acquired the services of Nemanja Matic for the third time in his managerial career by bringing the midfielder to the Stadio Olimpico.

Following his exit from Manchester United, Nemanja Matic now have yet another opportunity to reconnect with Jose Mourinho at Roma, completing a free transfer with the Serie A club.

The 33-year-old has agreed to a one-year contract with the Italian side, where he will link up with former United teammate Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Chelsea colleague Tammy Abraham.

Upon confirming last season that he would be leaving Old Trafford after five years, the Serbian international has been recruited by Mourinho for the third time in his career.

Matic re-signed for Chelsea in 2014 after three years in Portugal, during Mourinho’s second spell at the club.

Three years later, he joined the Portuguese coach to United, where he remained a regular first-team player under Louis van Gaal and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
