Tanguy Ndombele has officially returned back to Lyon on loan from Tottenham Hotspur until the end of the season.
After a disappointing period in with the North London side, the France midfielder has rejoined to his previous club.
Recall that the Premier League team paid a club-record of £54 million ($74 million) to secure the services of the France international from the Ligue 1 side in the summer of 2019.

Ndombele, on the other hand, has continued to struggle to live up to expectations of his price tag and has made his way back to his former club, Lyon in pursuit of regular first-team action.
Tanguy Ndombele has joined Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais on loan until the end of the season.

Despite being a frequent starter, the 25-year-old battled for stability at Spurs and never gained his manager’s trust.
Since Nuno was given the boot and replaced by Antonio Conte in November, his first-team opportunities have been limited, necessitating the January transfer in quest of regular play.
