Bayer Leverkusen had a 2-0 advantage from the first leg before coming into this clash and looking to finish the job at home.
However, Roma had other plans, as Leandro Paredes scored twice to level the aggregate score.
But Bayer Leverkusen’s persistence paid off as Gianluca Mancini’s own goal and Josip Stanisic’s equaliser in the 90th minute sealed their spot in the final.
The Xabi Alonso side has made a habit of scoring late goals this season, with a total of 11 goals scored in the 90th minute or later!
The German side has shown incredible resilience and determination, with goals coming as late as the 90+7 minute mark on multiple occasions.
