Nasarawa United head coach Usman Adams has hinted at an imminent unveiling of several new signings as the club prepares for their return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Coach Adams revealed that the club is close to finalising deals for several new players, including stars from other African countries, Footballrover reports.
The Nasarawa United coach said the technical crew is working tirelessly to assemble the best legs for the team ahead of the new season.
The Solid Miners, who secured promotion back to the top flight after a season in the Nigeria National League (NNL), are leaving no stone unturned in their bid to compete effectively in the upcoming campaign.

Adams emphasised the club’s meticulous approach to player recruitment, stating that the technical crew is carefully assessing potential signings during the ongoing preseason friendlies before making official announcements.
“We are observing their progress through the pre-season friendlies, and very soon we should be announcing our new acquisitions to show how ready we are for the new season,” Adams told the club’s media.
The coach expressed gratitude for the support of the Nasarawa State Government under the leadership of Engr. Abdullahi Sule, as well as the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development and other stakeholders.
Meanwhile, club captain King Osanga has shared his optimism about the team’s prospects, commending the quality of players being considered for recruitment.
He believes the new signings will significantly boost the team’s confidence as they aim to make a strong campaign in the NPFL.
Nasarawa United’s journey back to the top tier begins on Sunday, September 8, when they host Shooting Stars Sport Club of Ibadan at the Lafia City Stadium.
