Speaking exclusively to ATM Sports TV via WhatsApp after the victory, Moshood Shakirat revealed that her ambition stretches far beyond domestic success.

It’s a dream come true. Winning the NWFL Premiership with the Prosperity Girls is incredible, but this is just the beginning of what we want to achieve,” she said.

Fuelling the World Cup dream after NWFL glory

Looking ahead, Shakirat has a clear target in mind, revealing her burning desire to achieve international success.

My next target is the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, which will take place in Morocco from 17 October to 8 November 2025,” she added.
