Kansas City Current were leading with a goal before Alozie equalised with a wonderful solo drive from outside the eighteen-yard box.
Both goals came in the second half, with Lo’eau LaBonta handing the visitors the lead just six minutes after the interval, before the 26-year-old Nigerian made sure it ended 1-1 with her 67th-minute stunner at the Shell Energy Stadium.
The midfielder, who featured for 64 minutes in Houston Dash’s hard-earned NWSL draw, managed to complete 26 passes and produce two tackles and three important interceptions during the game.
Michelle Alozie was the engine room manager of the Super Falcons team that crashed out of the round of 16 stage of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
