After an impressive spell at Brentford, former Tottenham star – Christian Eriksen appears to have reached an agreement to switch to Manchester United.
According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Christian Eriksen has verbally agreed to join Manchester United this summer on a three-year deal.
After leaving Inter Milan, the midfielder signed a short-term contract with Brentford and made his way back to the Premier League in January.
Given that he is currently a free agent, his performances with Brentford however, have received a lot of attention.
“Manchester United are set to sign Christian Eriksen, here we go! Full verbal agreement in place, as first called by @David_Ornstein. Communication sent to both Man United and Brentford today morning. Contract until June 2025, waiting for signature and medical.” – Fabrizio

The Bees had intended to keep him on as their player, but he has agreed to a three-year deal with the Red Devils.
United has been looking to bolster its midfield and is working on a book a contract for Eriksen, who will also undergo a medical.
There shouldn’t be any problems, but considering the player’s past, all the boxes must still be checked.
Eriksen had previously shown his prowess in the Premier League and was a tremendously significant player during his brief spell in west London.
He thrived for a long time at Tottenham, contributing significantly to the team’s several top-four finishes and appearances in Champions League finals under manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Eriksen, along with players like Frenkie De Jong and Tyrell Malacia, has been among those most frequently mentioned in connection with a move to Old Trafford.
Erik ten Hag have lost a number of midfield options in recent months after Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, and Jesse Lingard all left, leaving him with no option than to secure the service of Eriksen.
Recall that while representing Denmark at Euro 2020 last summer, the 30-year-old experienced a cardiac arrest.
Since he had an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator, the former Tottenham star was prohibited from playing for Inter Milan under Serie A regulations.
“Christian Eriksen will sign three year deal with Manchester United this week, medical already scheduled. Eriksen has already direct talk with Erik ten Hag, key factor. Man Utd are working to announce both Malacia and Eriksen as new signings this week.” – Fabrizio added.
