It still looks likely that Cristiano Ronaldo is now fully ready to leave Manchester United before the transfer window shuts down, and it appears that the Red Devils are now prepared to let him go as well.

United has shifted their position on allowing the forward to leave Old Trafford, and they are reportedly eager to help with his pay so that he can get going.

According to reports, he and the new manager – Erik ten Hag already have issues and disagreements, which may be what caused the club to change its stance.

Despite the fact that things are currently looking good and stable for the Premier League giants, the former Real Madrid star is still reportedly planning to leave the Old Trafford.

Reports making rounds over the weekend suggest that the former Ballon d’Or winner is ready to return to Sporting Lisbon, who are currently competing in the UEFA Champions League.

But according to Italian reports, he is headed to Napoli instead to take over from Super Eagles forward – Victor Osimhen in a swap deal.

Two years after leaving Juventus, Napoli is reportedly eager to give the 37-year-old the chance to return to Italy and play in Serie A.

The Manchester United forward is about to get the Champions League football he so desperately wants, according to a report on ESPN.

Furthermore, Ronaldo is reportedly open to the move, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport, a major source of football news in Italy.

However, Victor Osimhen plus cash deal might likely not work for now as United have agreed to a deal for Ajax’s Antony, but his agent Jorge Mendes is putting a lot of effort into securing a loan agreement before Thursday’s deadline.

It remains to be seen if this ultimately star player belongs to Napoli, Sporting, or a different team entirely…. Time will tell as United approves the loan transfer, Cristiano Ronaldo will need to choose between two Champions League clubs.
