Wilfried Gnonto’s brilliant agility allowed him to elude four Manchester United defenders to score Leeds United’s first goal in just 56 seconds of the game’s opening period.

In the tenth minute of the opening game, a Pascal Struijk header from the left corner that was headed for the goal was deflected away by Manchester United goalkeeper De Gea.

The visitors increased their lead to 2-0 in the second half thanks to an own goal by Manchester United defender – Raphael Varane in 48th minute.

Wout Weghorst was replaced by Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford was also introduced by the Manchester United manager – Eric ten Hag in the 59th minute of the second half.

Three minutes later, Marcus Rashford reduced the tally to 1-2 for Manchester United, and in the 70th minute, Jadon Sancho tied the score for the Reds at 2-2.

Despite the 2-2 tie with Leeds United, Manchester United are still in third place in the English Premier League with 43 points after 22 games.

While Leeds United are currently in 16th place with 19 points after 21 games.
