Maccabi Jaffa midfielder – John Ogu, has lavished admiration on Victor Osimhen for continuing his fantastic scoring spree and helping Napoli extend their winning record to 13 in all competitions with hat-trick.
After leading Napoli to a 4-0 victory over Sassuolo on Saturday, the team’s top player Victor Osimhen climbed to new heights in the Italian Serie A.
After recording a hat-trick in Napoli’s 4-0 Serie A victory over Sassuolo, the Super Eagles forward secured his place in history book.
Since his hamstring injury recovery, the Super Eagles star has scored in every game, and on Saturday he continued that trend.
Osimhen didn’t take long to build up the fire; four minutes into the game, he gave Napoli the lead. The 23-year-old finished from close range after receiving a cross from the outstanding player – Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
19 minutes into the game, the duo continued their deadly combination as a low cross from the Georgian was swept in by the Nigerian international.
Kvaratskhelia transitioned from being a supplier to a scorer, as he finished off a pass from Mario Rui, giving Napoli a three-goal lead at the break.
After the resumption, Serie A League leaders continued from where they left off, taking control of play and looking for a fourth.
In the 77th minute, its all paid off as Victor Osimhen gave the Luciano Spalletti team a four-goal lead by completing his hat-trick with a deft chip.
Osimhen became the first Nigerian player to accomplish this achievement, first hat-trick in the Italian Serie A.
Additionally, it was the Osimhen’s first hat-trick in the top five divisions in Europe. The forward climbed to the top of the scoring standings with the hat-trick, netting seven goals in eight games.
This prompted Maccabi Jaffa midfielder John Ogu to heap praises on the Super Eagles team mate.
“Who else does this, when you check Napoli result and scores,the first person you pray to see is @victorosimhen9 . . Hattrick boy.” – he wrote on his twitter page.

And Osimhen, of course responded, saying;

Undoubtedly, Victor Osimhen is among the top three young strikers in the world of football currently. These days, few many strikers possess the ideal balance of speed, power, and desire.
Although second-placed AC Milan might cut it to three points if they defeat Torino tonight, the victory increases Napoli’s lead at the top of the Serie A standings to six points.
