At Anfield on Saturday afternoon, Liverpool and Chelsea, who were ranked ninth and tenth in the English Premier League standings, battled to a scoreless draw.
After a VAR check, Kai Havertz goal for Chelsea in the first three minutes of the game was disallowed for offside.
Chelsea had the game under control for the first twenty minutes of the first half before Mohammed Salah broke free at the right side of Chelsea’s defense in the fifth minutes of the game for Liverpool, but his pass to Cody Gakpo did not result in a goal.
In 18th minute, Cody Gakpo, scrambled the ball from Chelsea defenders but ultimately missed his second attempt at goal.
When Chelsea’s Lewis Hall was fouled outside the 18-yard box in the 32nd minute of the second half, Liverpool goalkeeper – Alisson made a significant save from the resulting free kick.
Liverpool’s goalkeeper made another fantastic save from Benoit Badieshile’s five-yard header after a free-kick that Hakim Ziyech whipped in sailed past all of Liverpool’s defenders.
The Reds increased pressure when the second half resumed in an effort to score the first goal.
Mykhaylo Mudryk of Chelsea was knocked to the ground by James Milner of Liverpool in the 66th minute of the second half.
Ten minutes later, after changing Lewis Hall in 55th minute of the second half, Mudryk displayed impressive footwork as he dribbled past two Liverpool players in the box, but his shot went into the side netting.

The draw lifts Liverpool to 8th position on the log from 9th with 29 points in 19 matches, while Chelsea retains its 10th position with 29 points in 20 matches
