Abakaliki FC earned their ‘giant-killers’ tag by knocking out four NPFL teams on their path to the FA Cup final — Katsina United, Nasarawa United, Enyimba, and Ikorodu City.

He emphasised that Kwara United also overcame strong NNL sides, proving their own strength and experience on their journey to the final.

“We can only respect them for getting this far, but we can’t fret just because they defeated some NPFL teams,” he added.
