Returning to the Portuguese league after his stint with Porto B during the 2018–2019 season, Nwakali proved to be a key player in securing the win for his team.

Despite not scoring or assisting directly, his impactful performance included two shots during the game.

The match saw Vizela take an early lead through Samuel Essende, but a penalty converted by Héctor Hernández levelled the score for the home team.
