Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho has continued his fine form in the Championship, finding the back of the net for a third consecutive game as Leicester City pipped Stoke City on Saturday at the King Power Stadium.
Kelechi Iheanacho was on target for Leicester City in their 2-0 home win against Stoke in the round of 11 of the Skybet Championship game.
The Nigerian international put the hosts in front just 23 minutes into the game to calm the nerves and help them settle into the game, and his goal separated both sides at the interval.
The Foxes waited till 79th minute to double their lead as Jamie Vardy’s left footed strike sealed the deal, thanks to assist from Wilfred Ndidi.
Wilfred Ndidi has provided an assist in each of his last three games for Leicester, against Blackburn, Preston and now Stoke City.
Seniorman Kelz is currently unstoppable; he has scored a goal in three consecutive games and has also registered four goals and one assist in 11 appearances for Leicester this season.
The victory sees Leicester City maintain the top spot in the league with 30 points while keeping their heads down in pursuit of a return to the Premier League.
Looking ahead, the 27-year-old Kelechi Iheanacho and his teammates will now visit Swansea next Saturday, hoping to continue to build on their stunning form.
