With a thrilling 4-3 victory over Enugu Rangers fresh in their minds, Kano Pillars are determined to carry that momentum into their upcoming clash against Nasarawa United on matchday nine.
The ambitious team, still buzzing from their explosive performance in Coal City, is rallying around veteran midfielder Rabiu Ali, whose standout season has been thrilling so far, Footballrover reports.
The 44-year-old star, with over four goals this season, is eyeing more scoring opportunities as the Sai Masu Gida face Nasarawa United at the Lafia City Stadium.
Set for a 3:00 pm kickoff on Sunday, the match promises intensity, with Pillars aiming to deliver a powerful repeat of their recent road success against the Flying Antelopes.
Reflecting on their Enugu win, in which Kano Pillars shocked Rangers by seizing a four-goal lead in the first half alone, Ali shared his excitement.
The midfielder scored twice, with Ahmed Musa and Zulkifilu Muhammed adding to the tally, putting their opponents on their heels.
Though Rangers managed to reduce the deficit, they couldn’t change the final outcome, which ended 4-3.
