Justice Chigozirim Ohajunwa is the star of the week after becoming the first Nigerian forward to score 4 goals in a single match during the 2024/2025 season.
His remarkable performance led Zimbru Chisinau to a dominant league victory over Floresti.
The 23-year-old forward was the standout player in what turned out to be a one-sided affair, Footballrover reports.
It’s been an impressive start to the season for Justice Ohajunwa and his teammates, who have now secured three consecutive wins, scoring a total of 16 goals while conceding only one.
They kicked off with a 4-0 victory over Balti, where Ohajunwa scored the third goal.
This was followed by a 4-1 win against Milsami, with Ohajunwa once again finding the net to wrap up the scoring.
The highlight, however, came last weekend when they demolished Floresti 8-0, with Ohajunwa scoring four of those goals.
Justice Ohajunwa has now scored six goals in three games for Zimbru Chisinau, cementing his status as a player to watch this season.
His masterful display against Floresti saw him score the second, fifth, sixth, and seventh goals in the Moldova Super Liga matchday three clash at the Stadionul Dinamo.
Ohajunwa’s scoring spree on Sunday began in the 32nd minute, after Vlad Raileanu had initially given the team the lead in the 19th minute.
Raileanu then doubled his tally five minutes later, and Serafim Cojocari made it 4-0 before Ohajunwa added two more goals, putting his team 6-0 up heading into halftime.
In the second half, Justice picked up right where he left off, striking again in the 59th minute to make it 7-0.
His countryman, Emmanuel Alaribe, who came on as a substitute in the 70th minute, sealed the victory by scoring three minutes before stoppage time.
Ohajunwa and his teammates must have savoured this resounding victory, although, sadly, only 120 fans were in attendance at the 4,981-capacity stadium to witness this high-scoring spectacle.
