The Nigerian forward scored the decisive goal, extending West Brom’s unbeaten run in the league, Footballrover reports.

The Baggies entered the match riding high on the momentum of three consecutive victories, including a commanding 3-0 win against Portsmouth in their last outing.

The first half at The Hawthorns was a cagey affair, with neither side able to break the deadlock.

However, the second half saw Maja step up when it mattered most. Just 17 minutes after the restart, he found the back of the net, securing all three points for his team.
