Felix and manager Diego Simeone have reportedly had a style controversy in the past, and this summer’s rumor section has been awash with speculations that Felix has been made available for transfer, with Man City, PSG, and Tottenham all hoping to make a move.
Felix didn’t take long to put an end to the rumors when asked about a potential transfer outside of La Liga.
“A departure from Atletico is not on the table,” he said. “I am fine and focused on Atletico. I’m calm about the future, aware of what I can do. I’m happy with myself.” – Felix said.
In addition to having to step up and replace the departed Luis Suarez, who is edging closer to a move to River Plate, this season is anticipated to be vital for Felix.
