Cristiano Ronaldo decided to pen down a two-year contract with the Saudi Arabian team Al-Nassr; the forward was a free agent after the mutual termination of his Manchester United contract.

Recall that the forward departed the Old Trafford team last month following an emotional televised interview in which the Portuguese claimed to feel betrayed by Manchester United and that he did not respect their head coach – Erik ten Hag.

With speculations flying around that he has landed a lucrative deal, Ronaldo said in November that he declined a Β£305 million summer transfer to Saudi Arabia.I’m very excited to join Al Nassr and to help them achieve more success - Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo while speaking on his move to Al Nassr said;

β€œI’m thrilled for a new experience in a different league and a different country, the vision that Al Nassr has is very inspiring. I’m very excited to join my teammates, and to help the team to achieve more success.”

Meanwhile, Al Nassr in statemnet on their official twitter page claimed that they decided to sign the Portugal captain to help them inspire upcoming generations of boys and girls in the Saudi Arabia League.
