Real Madrid legend – Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his excitement to join Al Nassr in the Saudi Arabian league, saying he is motivated and eager to begin the new adventure in a different league.
Cristiano Ronaldo decided to pen down a two-year contract with the Saudi Arabian team Al-Nassr; the forward was a free agent after the mutual termination of his Manchester United contract.
Recall that the forward departed the Old Trafford team last month following an emotional televised interview in which the Portuguese claimed to feel betrayed by Manchester United and that he did not respect their head coach – Erik ten Hag.
With speculations flying around that he has landed a lucrative deal, Ronaldo said in November that he declined a Β£305 million summer transfer to Saudi Arabia.
Cristiano Ronaldo while speaking on his move to Al Nassr said;
βIβm thrilled for a new experience in a different league and a different country, the vision that Al Nassr has is very inspiring. Iβm very excited to join my teammates, and to help the team to achieve more success.”
Meanwhile, Al Nassr in statemnet on their official twitter page claimed that they decided to sign the Portugal captain to help them inspire upcoming generations of boys and girls in the Saudi Arabia League.
The statement reads;
“History in the making. This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves. Welcome Cristiano to your new home Al Nassr FC.”

Having only joined a day earlier, the 37-year-old is unlikely to start for his new team against Al-Khaleej.
He will definitely be expecting to make his debut in January, but the club will certainly announce his first outing closer to the date.
