Due to injury, Paul Pogba has been ruled out of Manchester United’s team and is unlikely to play for them again this season.

The France international sustained a calf injury in the first half of Tuesday night’s 4-0 loss to Liverpool, and scans confirmed that he will be sidelined for almost a month.

After Arsenal hammered his Manchester United side 3-1 at the Emirates, the former United Academy star took to social media to voice his disappointment.

Arsenal won the thrilling encounter at the Emirates Stadium, increasing their hopes of finishing in the top four this season.

Shortly after the game, Paul Pogba wrote on his twitter page;

Absolutely gutted to not be able to help the team in today’s game. I will work even harder to come back stronger and hopefully before the end of the season. It’s not over πŸ’ͺ🏾 Thank you all for your support, United we would stand.”

The win lifted Arsenal above Tottenham and into fourth place, but Spurs have a game later today with a slightly higher goal differential, so things might change.

Meanwhile, United is still in sixth place, six points behind fourth, with a game against Chelsea scheduled for midweek.
