Despite their 2-1 victory over West Ham, Leicester’s win on the final day of the Premier League season proved futile, as they were relegated to the Championship.

West Ham managed to score one goal through Fornals in the second half, but they didn’t pose a significant threat to Leicester.

Even though Kelechi Iheanacho performed well, earning an 8/10 rating for his effective playmaking that involved Barnes and Maddison, Wilfred Ndidi didn’t participate in the game.

Leicester’s relegation to the Championship next season is confirmed, while Everton narrowly escaped relegation by securing 17th place at Goodison Park with a victory over Bournemouth.

Leicester will join Southampton and Leeds United in the second division, as both teams were also relegated after suffering a 4-1 defeat to Tottenham on the final day.

Although Dean Smith and his Leicester City side did everything required of them on the day, their recent results ultimately led to their downfall, leaving them with no hope for the future.
