Kelechi Iheanacho grabbed an assist to help Leicester City win back-to-back Premier League games after a 1-0 victory over Leeds United at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Super Eagles forward turned provider for Harvey Barnes, who scored the game-winning goal in the second half, giving Brendan Rodgers’ team all three points.
The visitors dominated the early stages of the second half and should have taken the lead, but Schmeichel was outstanding in goal for the Foxes, making numerous saves to keep the game scoreless, including a close-range stop to deny Raphinha.

After a wonderful one-two with Iheanacho on the edge of the box, Leeds were made to regret their squandered chances as Leicester opened the scoring in 67 minutes through Barnes.
Barnes then raced into the penalty area and beat Meslier from a tight angle after Iheanacho who replaced Jamie Vardy in the second half played a quick one-two with him, setting the winger up nicely to finish into the far corner of the net.

The goal came against the run of play, as Leeds had been dominating, but the home side will be unconcerned because they have gained a 1-0 victory.
Leicester City presently sit in 10th place in the Premier League rankings, and they will now focus on the Europa Conference League, where they will meet Rennes in the first leg on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Leeds are still in 16th place, but might tumble even further if they don’t turn things around in their next game.
