Odion Ighalo scored the game-winning goal to help his side – Al-Hilal secure a 2-1 victory over their bitter rivals Al Ittihad during their Saudi Arabian Premier League game on Tuesday night.
The Super Eagles star man grabbed his 16th goal of the season with his match winning strike as Al Hilal stunned the league leaders – Al Ittihad 2-1 in the Saudi Pro League.
Salem Al-Dawsari scored a penalty kick to put the Blue Eagles up after 16 minutes into the encounter at the Prince Faisal Stadium.
Haroune Camara equalised for Al Ittihad 14 minutes into the second half, bringing the visitors back into the contest.
Their joy was short lived as the equaliser, however, lasted only eight minutes as Al-Hilal snatched the lead yet again.
Ighalo demonstrated why he is the league top scorer by holding off his opponent before firing home from just inside the box to put Al Hilal back in front.

His 16th goal of the season gives the former Manchester United forward a two-goal advantage over the next player on the Saudi Arabian Premier League scoring chart.
Moussa Marega and Andre both had chances to score for Al Halil and Al Ittihad, however both goals were disallowed due to offside.
The 32-year-old Nigerian was later substituted in the 89th minute but his match-winning strike sealed the victory and all three points for the home side.
Despite the result, Al Ittihad remains in first place in the league, eight points clear of second-placed Al-Shabab, whom they will face next on Sunday.

While Al-Hilal is still in fourth place after 21 games, 11 points behind the league leaders, and will face Al-Raed on Sunday as well.
