Samuel Eto’o, the Cameroonian football icon, has expressed his joy after being inducted into the Inter Milan Wall of Fame.
Eto’o joyfully admitted that it is a wonderful honour for him to be inducted into Inter Milan’s Hall of Fame.
In the 102 matches he played for the Italian powerhouse, the newly elected Fecafoot President won six titles.
The 40-year-old played for the Italian juggernauts from 2009 to 2011 and helped them achieve greatness. He made 102 appearances for the team, with the 2009/10 season serving as the pinnacle.
The Fecafoot president, who was inducted into the 2021 wall of fame along with Gianluca Pagliuca, Marco Materazzi, and Wesley Sneijder, expressed his happiness on his Twitter page.
“Thank you Inter Milan for the incredible honour of inducing me into the 2021 Inter Hall Of Fame,” the now 40-year-old posted on his official social media account. I am in great company with Marco Materazzi, Gianluca Pagliuca and Wesley Sneijder. Proud to be [Black and Blue],” he wrote on twitter.

Walter Zenga, Javier Zanetti, Lothar Matthaus, and Ronaldo were among those honored in the 2018 edition.
Following a year later were Francesco Toldo, Giacinto Facchetti, Dejan Stankovic, and Giuseppe Meazza.
While Julio Cesar, Giuseppe Bergomi, Esteban Cambiasso, and Diego Milito were all honored in the 2020 edition.
The former striker won the Serie A title in 2009/10 and two Coppa Italia titles in 2009/10 and 2010/11 during his stint with the Nerazzurri.
Eto’o also assisted the team in winning the Supercoppa Italiana in 2010, the Champions League title in 2009/10, and the Fifa Club World Cup in 2010.
In 2011, the former Barcelona attacker moved to Anzhi Makhachkala, where he remained until 2013.
Later, he played for Premier League sides – Chelsea and Everton before returning to Italy, this time with Sampdoria.
