Harry Kane has a strong message for England fans, who were highly disappointed and concerned after the Three Lions managed to secure a 1-1 draw against Denmark, as their performance left much to be desired.

England, who seemed to see themselves as favourites for Euro 2024 title, now finds themselves in a precarious position two games into the tournament, Footballrover reports.

The match highlighted several vulnerabilities in Gareth Southgate’s squad, raising serious concerns for fans.

The game started on a positive note for England as Harry Kane netted the opening goal, offering a glimmer of hope.

But then, their slim lead was short-lived as Denmark’s Morten Hjulmand delivered a stunning long-range strike that left England’s defence scrambling and levelled the score.

Declan Rice’s lacklustre performance in the midfield allowed the Danes to dominate much of the game, further complicating England’s efforts.

Despite his early contribution, Bayern Munich star Kane struggled to maintain a significant impact throughout the match.

His performance reflected his struggles in the previous game against Serbia, where England narrowly clinched a 1-0 victory.

This led to his substitution in the 70th minute, with Ollie Watkins stepping in to replace the former Tottenham star.

Despite the underwhelming performance, Harry Kane took to social media to uplift the spirits of England supporters.

In a message aimed at reassuring fans that the team can improve and do better, the Bundesliga super star wrote,

“We know we can be better, but a tough point was earned against a good side. Let’s keep improving from here.”

The draw, while disappointing, keeps England in contention for the knockout rounds.

However, their next match against Slovenia is crucial, as a victory is essential not only to secure their place in the next stage but also to avoid a challenging face-off against Germany in the last 16.
