Raheem Sterling’s recent performance for the Blues has been a huge concern among many Chelsea supporters, as the forward has been unable to find the back of the net in recent matches.
Since joining the Blues from Manchester City for Β£47.5 million, Sterling has only scored four goals and provided two assists in 14 appearances for the club. Under Potter, Sterling has also yet to score in the Premier League.
Chelsea supporters are upset with this situation and demand that Pulisic, who has displayed great promise, replace Sterling after he scored his final goal in the new manager’s first game in charge against Red Bull Salzburg.

The summer signing from City is expected to quickly regain his best form, according to Chelsea manager Graham Potter, who has emphasized that he is not bothered about Raheem Sterling’s goalscoring troubles.
Sterling hasn’t scored in any of his previous six games, but Potter was sure that Chelsea’s attacking problems as a team are more to blame for the winger’s woes.
“It’s not something we have to zoom in to one person. As a team, we can do better, and if we do better as a team, then individuals will benefit from that, so that’s where the work is.” – Potter said.
Sterling has been used in a wide variety of positions under Potter. He played the first few minutes of the Salzburg match as a left wing-back and has since played in the same position on the right when Reece James suffered a knee injury.
In defence of his tactical decisions, Potter noted that;
“He’s got the flexibility, ability and quality to play in several positions. It’s not straightforward with losing the players we have to injury. So you’re constantly trying to find the right balance, and find the right solutions. But he can help us in a number of positions.”
