After the thrilling draw game between Arsenal and Southampton on Friday night at the Emirates, Grabriel Jesus has given his thoughts on what is now required for the Gunners to still win the Premier League.
The encounter, which ended 3-3 at the Emirates Stadium, saw the Brazilian and his teammates fighting back from two goals deficit to earn a point against Southampton in the Premier League.
Carlos Alcaraz broke the deadlock for the visitors after Aaron Ramsdale made a costly mistake, while Theo Walcott later punished his former team by giving the Saints a 2-0 lead.
Prior to halftime, Gabriel Martinelli pulled one back, but Duje Caleta-Car reestablished Southampton’s two-goal lead.
It seemed as though the Gunners would suffer an unusual loss, but late goals from Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka gave them a chance to share the points.

Although the point may not meet either team’s goals for the season, Arsenal will be happy to have won something.
And Grabriel Jesus at the other end feels the need for him and his teammates to understand that every point can decide the league, claiming that it’s time for them to stick together.
“We have to understand that every point can decide the league. But, like we all say, now it’s time to stick together and then we go again.” – he told the club website
Arsenal earned a point in the game, but they now have to travel to the Etihad Stadium to play Manchester City on Wednesday, a game that might decide the title.
At the opposite end of the Premier League table, Southampton will be looking to host Bournemouth on Thursday in a crucial game.
