Gift Orban scored four goals, including a spectacular free kick, to help KAA Gent crush SV Zulte Waregem by a significant margin in their Beglain Pro League match on Sunday evening.
KAA Gent had earlier secured a two-goal advantage over the home team, before the Nigerian scored four goals in the second half to give his team the victory and all three points at the Regenboog Stadion.
The Nigerian striker made league history by being the first KAA Gent player to ever score four goals in a single game.
Since making his debut for KAA Gent in February, Gift Orban has scored more goals than any other player in Europe’s top 10 leagues.
The 20-year-old attacker has scored nine goals in eight games since joining KAA Gent in January.
