Nigerian star Franklin Tebo pulled off a superhuman magic by grabbing a late goal to inspire his team, Sarpsborg 08, to a narrow away victory in Norway’s Eliteserien over the weekend.

It wasn’t smooth sailing for the visitors as they fell behind after 34 minutes when Patrick Berg fired Bodo/Glimt ahead at the Aspmyra Stadion.

But Sarpsborg didn’t back down. Just two minutes later, Jo Inge Berget brought them level, giving the team a fighting chance as both teams closed the first half at 1-1.

The second period of the encounter turned into a tense battle. Both Sarpsborg and Bodo/Glimt pushed hard for a winner but found no breakthrough — until Tebo stepped up.

Deep into the 94th minute, the 25-year-old defender smashed home his first goal in 11 appearances to grab all three points for the away side.

That match-winning moment lifts Sarpsborg to 7th place in the Norway Eliteserien with 17 points, just two behind Bodo/Glimt in 5th.

Now, with this new momentum, Tebo and his teammates are already eyeing their next clash against Haugesund on July 6.
